This project explores the artistic technique of double exposure, merging two distinct images into a single, cohesive composition to create layered storytelling and evoke deeper emotional connections. The juxtaposition of the images allows for creative interpretations, blending elements such as nature and humanity, urban and rural landscapes, or contrasting emotions.
The process involves carefully selecting and combining visuals that complement each other conceptually and aesthetically. Attention is given to the interplay of light, shadow, and texture to ensure the images blend seamlessly while retaining their individual identities.
Through this project, I aim to experiment with narrative depth, exploring themes like identity, duality, and harmony. The resulting visuals are designed to engage viewers by inviting them to uncover the layers of meaning hidden within the composition. This technique bridges photography, graphic design, and conceptual art, pushing creative boundaries while honing technical precision.
Sky Replacement
This project involves transforming an image by replacing its sky, enhancing the overall mood and impact of the composition. By using Photoshop's sky replacement tools and advanced editing techniques, the project demonstrates how subtle changes to environmental elements can dramatically alter the narrative and emotional tone of an image.
The process includes selecting a suitable replacement sky, ensuring it complements the lighting, color palette, and perspective of the original scene. Techniques like blending modes, layer masks, and color adjustments are applied to achieve a seamless integration, making the edit appear natural and convincing.
